Dear friend,
Received your letter yesterday and came to know about the sad and sudden demise of your dear mamma. This news is like a bolt from the blue for me. Your mother was a pious lady. She was no less than a goddess in any way. She treated me very lovingly and used to call me her 5th son. She had been suffering from chronic asthma since long. She had grown very weak when I met her last. She was proclaiming that she would leave us soon. It had shaken me to the skin but I cheered her up.
You gave her the best treatment and served her the most but could not save her from the cruel hands of death. Her death is a shock and personal loss to me. Being unlucky, I. could neither have her darshan in her last hours nor could I attend her funeral.
I shall come to see you next week. I pray to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this unbearable loss.
